 Andrew earned his reputation as
one of the founding members and primary creative forces of the Richmond,
Virginia jazz-rock
outfit Agents of Good Roots. Since 1993,
Andrew has played guitar, keyboard, and provided vocals for AGR. His songwriting
achievements include penning Smiling up the Frown, a Billboard number two AAA single in
1998. His successes with Agents also include opening for such luminaries as the Dave Matthews Band, John
Scofield, Medeski Martin & Wood, Bruce Hornsby, and Blues Traveler, and appearing in the 1996 and 1998
H.O.R.D.E. festivals, while throughout their career touring the country and developing a
nationwide following. |
